Exploring new possibilities to wear a watch

Inspired by minimalist aesthetics, Asola aims to bring simple elegance to everyday life. An innovative design for the buckle strap invent an alternative interaction with this archetypal object.

The single lug suggests a fluid gesture, which enfolds the wrist in a gentle caress; the curved line of the leather buckle strap is designed to stretch out from the case, in dialog with the central lowered dial, and spools around the lug, embedded to the case. To buckle up the watch, the strap has to be fixed to the pin and the leather tail flows into the metal loop.

Asola explores new possibilities of wearing a watch. The markings blend in the outer ring of the dial, linear and flat as the baton hands, they communicate with the materic volume of the case to create an unusual dimensional language, tending to a metaphysical aura. To create a coherent style, all the metal parts are made of the same material and finished with identical technique.

Asola is part of the Italian Collection produced by Zerone, Hong Kong-based company with 40-years watchmaking experience.
